Few more days to Hari Raya but here I am totally slacking. Except getting ready our 1st day outfit and buy few goodies and gassy drinks, I did nothing else. The house still looks the same. No new curtains, sofa cover, table runner, flower etc etc. All look the same as the usual days. I do not mind it one bit. I've told the husband that 1week is the maximum celebration for me. After that, back to the usual routine. Honestly, I do not understand the logic of splurging on expensive outfits, buying new stuffs for the house for once a year event. Importantly, I do not encourage being wasteful. Oh well, not everyone thinks the same so let's just respect one another.
It's gonna be an hectic day for us tomorrow. I am not feeling too good these few days thus the house is in a bit of mess. Got to keep up with the vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning..and the list goes on and on. I HATE the dust! Why can't they just vanish into thin air?
