We turned 8!

On this date, 8yrs ago, we became husband and wife. At 20yrs of age, I am giving up my youth, my social life, career, to married to this man whom I had dated for just 3yrs. It was a disaster at the beginning with a lot of problems arising one after another. But Allah has plans for us, for better things in future. We survived though wounded. 8yrs on, here we are, stronger than ever, with 2 beautiful kids (and soon 1 more!), a bright future, a nice home and importantly, we still have each other. I could never ask for more. And how thankful I am to learnt from past experiences to become a strong willed and positive person I am now.

Our imperfections strengthen the marriage, one way or another. We adjust, we adapt and we changed for the better. He is my bestfriend, my enemy (for being so irritating! haha), my pillar and my partner for life. For good or bad times. I love you Muhamad Firuz. We have come a long way, and still emerge a "winner".  I am thankful to have you in my life. I could never find anyone to be a better partner in crime. Ya Allah, to you we are forever grateful, for giving us so much patience to overcome obstacles and stand where we are now.  And to you we are grateful for the blessings you have bestowed upon this small family of ours.  To many more good years to us.
