So this year, Arian will be in K1 and Eva in N1. Both kids have matured so much and I never once regretted the decision to stay put them in their current school. They have progressed steadily and I am pleased to know that both are also loving school and having fun with their peers. As a mom, I only want the best for my children and that will be the utmost importance.

This year, I targeted to send them to school by 9am everyday due to the fact that Arian is now in K1 (and its serious business for me..haha). So for the first week, we passed the test! :) Let's just hope that every week will be a successful timing for us especially now that I have a fix daily routine for them. I have also stopped Arian with outside enrichments as per his request. As a parent, I respect my son's decision as now he have the mind of his own. So any extra enrichments is kept within school hours, in school. (which we discussed and he agreed on). A blessing in disguise for me too as I no longer needed to rush here and there to send him. Less pressuring for me especially in my pregnant state. Weekend are free time for them, reading books, having fun and just relax their mind. Sunday will be the compulsory madrasah class for Arian. I will try my best not to join the "kiasu" parents clique who overwhelm their kids with too many enrichments and classes. I will only tackle issues if there is any worrying dilemma.
